SGSS and English Club Collaboration: Fun Halloween Party! – By Sawa Muraoka 3rd Grade Class 2 SGSS Member
Time has passed, and it has become fall, the season of Halloween.
SGSS members collaborated with the English Club members to have an early Halloween party on October 25th.
Anyone was allowed to participate, including those who were not in the club.
Students and teachers wore their unique costumes and played several games that the participants prepared themselves.
The first game they played was Halloween Bingo. Then they played Fruit Basket, followed by Hep Hep Hurray.
Lastly, they played a game similar to rock paper scissors; however, it was with groups, girls vs. boys.
Similar to rock paper scissors, there are three poses: Samson, Delilah, and the Lion.
Each game had prizes- snacks provided by the teachers and club members.
The party also had cupboards packed with treats, and participants were required to write their names on the covers.
Everyone opened their cupboards one by one and got their different prizes.
The party overall was a huge success.
The participants celebrated a holiday that most Japanese schools do not celebrate.
Hopefully, more clubs or even schools can start celebrating Halloween to experience the entertaining craziness with tricks and treats.
