3rd-grade students go on a trip to Okinawa – by Shunki Ito, 3rd Grade Class 4, SGSS Member

3rd-grade students went on a school trip in Okinawa for three days, from October 3rd to 5th. It was their first time to take lodging, so they looked forward to the trip.
They learned about peace in the Cornerstone of Peace and The Former Japanese Navy Underground Headquarters.
They did an activity they had chosen from Marine Sports, Experience of Culture, and Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium. They also went to American Village, did a stamp rally, and went shopping with a foreigner.
After they went back to school on the final day, some students swam or played beach volleyball on the beach, and others spent time in the hotel.
They had a good time with their friends. However, if there was no COVID-19 pandemic, they could go to foreign countries.
I hope we had no coronavirus and students could go to foreign countries.
